Safety rules
If we're not sure, we don't touch it.
The site is designed around exact device and firmware matching, reversible changes and a hard stop when the evidence does not match.
What the first version will do
- Read the TV identity before changing anything.
- Require an exact supported profile instead of borrowing a sibling model's list.
- Back up package and settings state first.
- Use
pm disable-user --user 0, never uninstall system packages. - Ask before optional apps and features.
- Keep stock launchers and setup components intact in this debloat-only release.
- Stop when a firmware, package or device behavior differs from the profile.
Data source
Pilot profiles are derived only from the MIT-licensed Gathin23/cleanyourtv repository, locked to a specific upstream commit. We do not invent descriptions for unknown packages.
What “supported” means
Supported means we have a profile for the exact device family and listed firmware, sourced from the upstream tested notes. It does not mean every unit or later firmware is guaranteed identical. The execution prompt checks the real device first and stops on mismatch.
